About the opportunity
The three federal granting agencies, the Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR), the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) have embarked on a project to improve their grants management system to better support applicants, administrators, and reviewers.
As part of this initiative, we are building a modern, user-centric Grants Management Solution leveraging Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics365, Data Verse and Azure Services.
We are seeking Senior Developers to work in a team to customize and configure both the external portal and internal system based on established business processes and requirements.
What you will do
The successful candidate will analyze system requirements analysis to design, develop and implement the Tri-Agency Grants Management Solution (TGMS). As part of the agile software development lifecycle, you will work in team delivering iterative features.
What you need to succeed
Education
-
University degree or community college diploma in computer science OR related field and experience in related information technology or a combination of education, training and experience.
Experience
-
Experience in developing with Microsoft 365 technologies including but not limited to Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Azure DevOps, Dynamics, etc.

Experience in the review and use of data models and physical database structures

Experience in system project planning, including estimating effort of requirements for development and implementation

Experience with one or more of the following would be considered an asset::
- Angular
- Use of external APIs
- Azure DevOps
- SQL (Structured Query Language)
- Power Apps component framework (PCF)
Knowledge

Knowledge of various software development life cycles (SDLC)
