What you will do 

As a Financial Data Analyst your responsibilities will include:

Providing business intelligence software solutions, data analytics, and tier 1 support for SAP tickets for both agencies, and the Division by participating in the requirements of gathering, analyzing, designing, developing and implementing flexible reporting solutions that satisfy the informational requirements of both the internal and external client communities. The Financial Data Analyst provides specialist advice for the design and implementation of data collection tools and processes as well as on alternatives.

Education

Experience

  • Experience in using complex relational databases.
  • Experience managing deliverables within multidisciplinary teams.

Assets:

  • Experience in the field of Business Intelligence, providing operational/strategic reporting solutions and maintaining semantic layers.
  • Experience in participating in the administration of a Business Intelligence system.

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence Reporting platforms such as SAP and Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Applied knowledge of various software, statistics and data reporting systems including Power BI, Pivots, and the Microsoft Office suite to produce reports and presentations.
  • Knowledge of project management practices and principles.
  • Knowledge of computer science theories, engineering methods and principles, to design, develop, test, and implement internal and/or external focused Business Intelligence solutions utilizing information technology.
